Clean corridors

Each week we have a pair of senior councillors from each class to check the other classes corridors. The 3 classes with the cleanest corridors will win a social skill award for their class. The awards will be handed out at school assembly which is every Monday. By doing this it will make classes want to clean their corridors because they already know that there will be an award. So keep it up classes.

The Gala

The Nelson Central school Gala was a great success as we raised over $23,000!
This year there was a new game called "Wetems" Which was a great money maker because the children could throw sponges at their teacher. At the end there were loads of free toys being given away, the candy-floss caravan was also great profit maker. There was an old fire engine that was driving around giving rides. Year 6 disco

The senior council have organised a year 6 disco for the end of the year. We have been struggling with a theme and we need ideas so if you have any good ideas please share as it will be a great help. If you have a theme post a comment. The theme has to be appropriate for year 6's.
