Each student with wild hair bought along a gold coin donation to go towards save the children fund which helps children in poverty have an education and a better life to live. 50 cents will buy a schoolbook for a child at school in India,$30 will buy a bike so a child can travel to school in Vietnam and $80 will pay the salary of a teacher helping children in Afghanistan who have missed out on school so they can catch up so they can return to usual schools.
